Elliott F. Robinson, Associate

Mr. Robinson is an Associate with Syncom Venture Partners. He is responsible for evaluating new deals and leading them through the various stages of Syncom's due diligence process. In addition to analyzing new investment opportunities, Mr. Robinson is responsible for the internal monitoring and reporting functions for several of Syncom’s portfolio companies, where he works with management to track key performance indicators and financial results. Mr. Robinson works directly with the C-level management teams at V-Me Media, Outspark, and Weather Decision Technologies with a focus on digital and social media initiatives and investments. He also plays an active role in the Board of Directors meetings, where he contributes to efforts such as organizational and business development, strategic planning, competitive assessments, new management evaluation, and fund raising.

Prior to joining Syncom Venture Partners, Mr. Robinson was a Requirements Analyst for the Future Combat Systems contract with Software Applications International Corporation (SAIC). Mr. Robinson was responsible for both writing and testing the threshold and objective requirements as a part of the Unmanned Air Vehicles engineering team, where he reported directly to the Senior Program Manager.

Mr. Robinson holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Morehouse College, where he graduated with honors. He is a graduate of the National Association of Small Business Investment Companies’ Venture Capital Institute and was selected as a Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) Fellow.

Currently, Mr. Robinson is earning his Masters of Business Administration at the Columbia Business School with a concentration in Private Equity and Leadership & Ethics. At CBS, he has been selected as an InSITE Venture Capital and Robert A. Toigo Fellow and is a member of the Hermes Society.
