NAIC
The National Association of Investment Companies (NAIC) is the membership organization for firms dedicated to investing in the United States Emerging Domestic Market (EDM). NAIC member firms invest in privately held businesses that have a high probability of growth and the ability to generate significant returns for investors and shareholders. Syncom has been an active member and ardent supporter of the NAIC since our founding in 1977.
The Marathon Club
The Marathon Club is focused on increasing the availability and investment of private equity capital into enterprises that have significant minority ownership and management participation. Syncom was instrumental in the formation and development of The Marathon Club and continues to support the mission and development of the organization.
The Robert Toigo Foundation
The Robert Toigo Foundation was founded in the late 1980s with a vision to directly address the lack of diversity within the finance industry. From the start, the foundation's focus has been to find, develop, and support the next generation of leadership within the finance industry.
New America Alliance
New America Alliance is the premier organization for American Latinos focused on leveraging human capital, economic and political capital to improve the quality of life for American Latinos. Syncom is a charter corporate member of the NAA and proudly supports the organization's mission.
Howard University ELI
The ELI Institute was created by a grant from the Kauffman Foundation to spread entrepreneurial thought throughout all aspects of university life at Howard.
Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship
NFTE's provides entrepreneurial educational programs to young people from low-income communities. The program has a proven track record of success at developing not only entrepreneurial skills but supports the growth of better students.
Spelman College
Spelman College is one of the most prestigious institutions of higher learning in the country. Spelman was founded in 1881 in Atlanta, Georgia and is a historically Black college for women.
